Mission

Mission: The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.

The USO is a family of volunteers, sustained by the charitable contributions of millions of generous Americans. We are united in our commitment to support America’s service members by keeping them connected to the people, places and things they love. We do this through countless acts of caring, comfort, connection and support. Our work is America’s most powerful expression of gratitude to the men and women who secure our nations’ freedoms.

USO Wisconsin serves over 15,000 current U.S. military personnel throughout the state from each of the five military branches (Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard, including Reserve and National Guard units), and 150,000 personnel that train in Wisconsin each year. With the help of hundreds of devoted volunteers, USO WI provides programs and services at three USO centers, two USO airport lounges and a Mobile USO truck.

USO Wisconsin is a 501(C3) non-profit organization that has been a trusted friend of military and their families since 1941. It is through the generous financial support of individuals and organizations in the local community that USO WI is able to fulfill its mission.
