Volunteer

At USO Wisconsin, volunteers play a special role in making moments matter for our troops and their families. Whether it is welcoming a visitor to an airport center, easing someone’s journey through MEPS with a cup of coffee, or providing a free phone call for a military member on the training field to connect with a loved one, volunteers lead with their hearts and serve with integrity. Register to volunteer for a one-time event or to provide your ongoing support.

Volunteer at a USO center:

Center volunteers provide help on a regular, usually weekly basis. Centers are located at the Milwaukee and La Crosse airports, the Milwaukee Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), and at Fort McCoy. Center volunteers interact with currently serving military and are the backbone of the services we provide.

Volunteer tasks at the centers include helping service members find what they need, stocking supplies, cleaning the facilities, greeting visitors, and completing daily tasks to warmly meet the needs of our guests. Each volunteer must fulfill a required number of shifts assigned to each center.
